What is the EPF interest rate?
EPFO declared 8.25% for FY 2025-26. The rate is announced every year, so change it in the calculator if it moves.
How much does my employer put into EPF?
Your employer contributes 12% of basic + DA, but 8.33% (up to ₹1,250 a month) goes to the EPS pension scheme. The rest, usually 3.67%, goes to your EPF.
Is EPF withdrawal tax-free?
Yes, after 5 years of continuous service, EPF withdrawals are generally tax-free.
